how to represent a database in UML?

Postby Guest » Sun Aug 13, 2006 5:30 am

Hello,

I'm new to UML and my question may be irrelevant :( but I have to ask it anyway. :)

Just how do I model an entire database or a datatabase table in UML? Or is this outside of UML?

There is an interesting article about it: "Database Modelling in UML". This article offers a step by step approach to transform a UML object-oriented class model in a purely relational database.
