How to create a qualifier for an association ?

Postby pchaix » Fri Apr 04, 2003 4:00 pm

In a class diagram, I wish I could create a qualifier (*) on an association.

(*) attribute to partition the set of associated A & B objects (kind of an attribute of the association.)

Any hint ? Thank you in advance!

Qualified associations are not possible yet in Poseidon. It is on our list of course, but it will take a few days :-) Not for the next version anyway.

I would also like to use this feature - given that you can't (V2.1.1) attach a note to an association, how else are we supposed to model qualified associations? For me, these are quite crucial modelling features.

Any time frame available?

Hi,
Qualified associations still aren't supported in Poseidon.
But notes can definitly be connected to asssocations.
Please use our current release 2.4.1

Kind regards,

Yep. And are still not supported in 3.0... One might guess they will became supported once ArgoUML implements them...
