Hi,

you can reverse engineer your j2ee, ejb jars and display them in the graphical editor. But the full roundtrip functionality is only available if you have the source code , too.

I do have the source in Eclipse 3.2.1 with wtp 1.5.2.
Can Apollo 'import' this, and then supply complete round trip functionality?

Related question. Does Appollo also generate the deployment descriptors, including custom dd's for popular appservers?

Thanks

Hi,

you can import the sources via the import plugin wizard of eclipse. There you have to choose the option "Import with sources". Then you have the roundtrip functionalty on each project that contains source files, i.e. you can create attributes, operations, associations etc. But be aware, that you can only show diagrams for exactly one package.
Apollo is not able to create other files then Java source files and work with them.
Within the next days, a new version of Apollo will be released with some other nice features.

Regards,
Stefan
