Exception after Apollo install

Postby ihab.awad » Thu Nov 02, 2006 6:32 am

Hi folks,

[ Sorry if this is a dupe -- my previous message didn't show up for some reason. ]

I installed Apollo on Windows XP per the instructions using Eclipse Callisto and Java 1.5. Now, whenever I try to open a diagram, I get the below exception. Is this anything anyone else has seen? Thanks and regards,

Ihab

Hi,

the exception occurs because of faulty created diagram files for the diagram editor / view. You should delete all previously generated diagram files (*.auml_diagram), select a package and choose "open in diagram view".
If this does not work, please submit a request to our support.
Do you use the RCP or the Eclipse integration of Apollo?

Hi Stefan,

My mistake! I used the Eclipse Installation instructions, per --

http://www.gentleware.com/fileadmin/med ... 02s03.html

but I just noticed that, where it asks me to download Apollo_1.0.0.zip, I instead used Apollo_RCP_....zip. This is probably the reason why my installation is messed up!

I tried it by just unzipping the RCP zip file and using it directly, and the problems went away.

Thanks and regards,

Ihab
