access level in UML

Postby giba » Thu Mar 02, 2006 3:45 pm

Hi all!

I'm looking for a discussion group to help me with newbie questions about UML itself, not about Poseidon. Am I in the right place?

Anyway, here's my question, I'm sorry if I'm off-topic.

(I don't even know how to start it)

I'm trying to describe a stock system and there are 3 levels of access: user, manager and sysadmin. A user has read-only access to a department-stock. A manager has write-access to his department-stock, but has read-only access to the general-stock. The sysadmin has write-access to everything.

How would you describe it using UML?

PS: Sorry about my english...
