providing packages with attributes?

Postby Guest » Wed Mar 02, 2005 5:54 pm

Hello all!

Probably a stupid question...
Packages have just a name and normally are containing other Elements. Packages don?t need more attributes because they normally serve just model structuring..

I?m modeling requirements and had the idea to model a requirements as a class, if this requirement doesn?t contain further requirements or as a package, if this requirement is containing more requirements.
And given that requirements have some attributes...

Is it not possible to provide packages with some attributes? How could I save Information about a Package?

Thank you so much for your help!

You could attach tagged values or stereotypes to a package, but no attributes.

Have you thought about using our Requirements Engineering Plug-In by oose.de? Just have a look at:

Hi Jan,

the problem is that I muss work with the requirement management tool DOORS. I?m currently writting my final thesis and the issue is how can you build an interface based on XMI between DOORS and some UML tools which support XMI Import/Export, find out, which are the possibilities and the problems, etc...

Yolanda
