Collaboration Diagrams and static classes

Postby Guest » Mon Feb 02, 2004 7:52 pm

In a collaboration diagram, how do I represent collaboration between a static class and an object. All of the diagrams for collaboration diagrams are objects (with the underline). There doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of the underline and represent a static class. Perhaps I am missing a fundamental issue here, but let's say I want to represent a static class with a main() function that instanciates an object. What would that look like?

Hi,

UML collaboration diagrams are limited to communication between instances, so it's not possible to model calls to static methods.
