make state diagram in plugin

Postby Guest » Wed Sep 28, 2005 8:30 am

i wish to automatically generate state diagrams for my plugin. came across a few barriers in Poseidon Professional edition 3.1.1.

When creating any states using Uml1SmCommandFactory:
a) do i use functions with "uml2" as a prefix? ie. makeCommandCreateUml2StateDiagram, makeCommandCreateUml2State?

b) the uml2 functions doesn't have any helper classes and there are no documentation on such. what do i pass in as a parameter for functions such as makeCommandCreateUml2Pseudostate(PseudostateClass class, String arg1, etc etc) can you provide an example?

c) the "Region" object for the coupling of subvertices and transitions, and used for the creation of Statemachine, how do i create them? are they states?

d) how do i create "Collaboration" model element?

any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys.
